I can't even begin to highlight how important this day is--you either know that or your mother-in-law has made it very clearly know ;) All jokes aside, this day is pretty darn special. Before I started photography, I never appreciated it to its full potential. Of course, I valued memories, but I didn't make the connection of what let the memories live on. In the last year alone, I've found myself pouring over my grandparent's photo albums a dozen times. Many times, I would be joined by my family piecing together details about the true nature of the photos. Both timeless and very apparent in age, each photo revealed a new aspect I couldn't garner from stories alone. No matter how much you invest into your wedding, nothing will let the day live on as the tangible photos your kids can one day debate over. Let's go over the nitty-gritty and do this thing.
